Binding Description
Original brown publisher’s cloth boards with circular bands, borders, and corner ornaments; gilt sphinx on the rear board. The spine covering is extensively damaged and a shelf label remains on the front board.

The flyleaf is signed “Edward H. Hall — Plymouth.” An Andover-Harvard Theological Library bookplate identifies a gift from the library of Edward Henry Hall, D.D.; the accession stamp is dated March 25, 1912.
