Binding Description
Later dark leather binding with double gilt rules on the boards, gilt-lettered spine, and raised bands. The original publisher’s decorated cloth is not present in the illustrated binding.

A Western Theological Seminary, Chicago, stamp appears on an endpaper. The volume later belonged to the Hibbard Library of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary; Garrett-Evangelical acquired its stewardship in the 1980s.
